Frequently Asked Questions:
Pricing and Integration
Anadue solutions can be deployed with any shared mobility platform that can export data about vehicles and trips. Our platform has been developed to integrate with many platforms.
The complexity of the integration varies widely and depends on which Anadue solutions you wish to deploy. For a free consultation about your requirements, please contact Anadue.
Which shared mobility platforms does Anadue integrate with?
Anadue solutions are suitable for all types of shared mobility. This includes e-scooters, bikes and e-bikes, mopeds and even car share and ride hail services. We can support docked, free-floating and hybrid vehicle deployments.
Does fleet optimisation work for scooters, bikes, e-bikes, mopeds and car sharing?
All Anadue solutions are designed to improve profitability. They have been developed in close cooperation with operators to ensure they deliver real benefits, not just theoretical benefits. The different solutions improve profitability in different ways, for example, our Rebalancing Algorithms improve the number of rides per vehicle, while Dynamic Pricing increases the revenue per trip. Customer Analysis improves customer retention and loyalty.
How does fleet optimisation software improve shared mobility profitability?
Anadue solutions are all deployed “in the cloud” and connect to your existing mobility platform via a secure connection. Your platform can be physically located anywhere in the world, but if you have regulatory requirements that customer data doesn’t cross international borders, we can deploy our solutions on a datacentre local to you. By default, the data centre we use is based in Germany.
Is Anadue cloud-based, and can rider data stay in my country?
Our prices are designed to always be considerably lower than the financial benefit of using them, in other words, they pay for themselves, with cash left over. Our standard price is based on a revenue sharing arrangement, so our cost reflects the seasonal revenue fluctuations that you experience. We have also offered pricing based on fleet size and other custom price schemes for some larger deployments.
How much does shared mobility fleet optimisation software cost?
No, once we have agreed on a monthly fee, this will include all software licences, cloud-based processing and storage, and customer support needed. Access to Anadue solutions is via any standard web browser, so you don’t need to purchase any additional software or hardware. We reserve the right to charge a one-off integration fee if your platform isn’t currently supported, and one-off development fees if you request new functionality far from our existing capabilities, but in all cases, these will be presented up-front for your consideration. Small customisation to the solutions are usually provided free of charge as part of the SaaS agreement.
Are there setup fees or hidden costs with mobility analytics software?
Generally, we do not offer free trials. We incur costs to set up our solutions for each new deployment and also have third party costs that we need to pay. We do have a standard “introductory” offer that allows you to experience Anadue solutions at a very low cost, and with the option to cancel without any future commitment.
Does Anadue offer a free trial?
Our solution has been developed by experts with decades of experience in the telecommunications sector where data security is paramount. There are multiple procedures in place to ensure your data is kept private.
How is shared mobility and rider data kept secure?
The core technology is our Machine Learning predictive algorithms. Based on "learning data" collected for several weeks, Anadue can predict the number of rides that will start in each small area in the hours ahead. We can also predict the revenue generated by vehicles parked in difference locations, how long a parked vehicle will remain unused and many other factors that affect your business. From these core technologies, we can provide detailed instructions on how to rebalance your fleet to maximise rides and revenue. We tell your operations teams where there are too many vehicles, and where you need more.
How does e-scooter rebalancing work?
Yes! Dynamic Pricing has been proven to increase revenue for shared e-scooter operators in several countries, from tourist destinations to business districts. The key is to increase prices only at times, and in places where predicted demand is high. This ensures that you don't discourage riders from using your fleet when and where demand is average. We encourage operators to use Dynamic Pricing to discount prices where predicted demand is low as your customers may move vehicles to a better location, and save you the cost of rebalancing them.
Does dynamic pricing work for micromobility?
If you are using a shared mobility platform that Anadue has already integrated with, integration can take as little as one or two days (more configuration than integration). If you have developed your own platform, or it is one we have not worked with previously, you should allocate approximately one month for integration, but we will provide a more detailed schedule once we have more information on what APIs your platform supports.
How long does integration take?
Anadue specifically requests not to be sent personal data. If it is included as part of your API specification, we discard it. Most of our solutions do not need any personal details of your customers, and even our "Customers & Revenue" analytics is designed to operate with anonymised data.
Is Anadue GDPR compliant?
MDS and GBFS are specifications for shared mobility operators to share raw data with local government (or other organisations). Anadue generates finished reports that a shared mobility operator can share with local government. This means that the requirement for local government to invest in a solution to process raw data is removed. Many local governments prefer this approach. If local government requires raw data, this is usually sent from the shared mobility platform, not an analytics platform.
Can Anadue generate city and regulator reports (MDS / GBFS)?
No. Anadue works with your existing fleet management platform via an API that allows Anadue to collect data about your fleet, and send information about rebalancing, pricing, etc.
Do I need to replace my existing fleet management platform?
There is no exact number of vehicles that marks a threshold for when Anadue solutions become a source of revenue generation rather than a net cost. Every operator has different prices, utilisation and costs. We only enter into agreements with operators when we are confident that there will be a win/win situation, so feel free to contact us for a call, and we can share details of typical monthly revenues, monthly costs and the typical increase in revenue that you can expect.
How many vehicles do I need before this pays for itself?
Many operators are not analysing all the data available to optimise their operations. This means you can have some vehicles parked for days between rides, while at the same time, no vehicles are available in areas of high demand. Predictive Analytics from Anadue go far beyond what "local knowledge" can provide in identifying opportunities to increase rides by moving vehicles (rebalancing the fleet).
How can I get more rides for my shared bikes, scooters and mopeds?
Every city and municipality has different requirements and priorities when they tender for shared bike, scooter or moped services in their area. It's often a balance of multiple requirements, including generating an income for the city (the operator pays the city a fee), details on how operators will manage their fleet to avoid "street clutter", and improving access to affordable transport for their residents. SuperFlexMap will help you prepare a detailed and comprehensive response to any tender, showing deep insights into the population, infrastructure and businesses of the city.
